Our Leadership and Board
Community Baptist Church has three leadership groups: the Board, the pastoral staff, and volunteer leaders. Community, being baptistic in its roots, is congregational in its form of government. That means members (we call them partners) elect Board members for three-year terms. Our Board gives authoritative oversight to the church, directly working with Sr. Pastor Rob Acker. The Board functions as ‘ruling elders.'

Our Pastoral staff provides spiritual leadership so the mission and goals of the church are accomplished. The Pastors function as ‘teaching elders.’ They aim to equip people for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16).
Supporting the pastoral staff is an amazing Administrative Staff.
