What Can I Expect When I Arrive?
You’ll find drive-way entrances to the CBC campus on both 19th and Beryl Streets (Map). Once you enter the inner courtyard, you’ll find friendly greeters, information on special events, classrooms for kids, and a hospitality table with refreshments. We’d love to meet you, so please feel free to introduce yourself.
Where Should I Take My Children?
We believe people of all ages need an exciting church home, so CBC has age-specific classes for kids (KidSPACE info). While children are certainly welcome into the Worship Service, CBC has quality staff and clean classrooms for children (nursery through 6th grade) at all services. Teens (Exodus Junior High Ministry and Endeavor High School Ministry) have the option of a Bible class and/or Worship service.
What is the Main Service Like?
CBC is a casual church where people come from all sorts of backgrounds and cultures. There is no dress code or expectation. The common denominator is an authentic spirit to listen, learn, and discover the life God has for us through Jesus Christ. You will be welcomed by an usher and handed a bulletin.
The Worship Service is contemporary in style and usually 65-70 minutes You’ll be surprised how fast the time goes as the worship team leads our singing, and an inspirational message is presented by Pastor Rob or another member of our teaching team.
What About After the Service?
A few options: If you’d like to meet with a prayer team member, please come forward to the left side of the Worship Center. There, a team member (also called an Intercessor) will be available to answer any questions and pray for you if you so desire.
When you leave the Worship Center, we invite you to walk out to the Courtyard and enjoy coffee and refreshments. If you have children in the KidSPACE Bible classes, you should pick them up first, then hang out, maybe meet someone new or discover an old friend. In addition, we have a book table with some great resources. Staff members are available to help answer any questions.
