The GAP Food Bank Postal Canned Food Drive
This group will serve together on Saturday, May 8, 2010 to help The GAP Food Bank manage the postal food drive. Teams are needed at the post office and at The GAP to load and unload canned food.

New Commandment
A ministry to people with long-term needs, such as widows, single moms, and the disabled. Teams are comprised of four men who donate three hours of time, one Saturday morning a month. Teams meet at the church for prayer and Bible study 7:00-8:00am, then break into teams and go out and work in the home of their care receiver 8:00-10:00am. The men do basic chores around the home, such as fixing leaky faucets, cleaning windows, hauling trash, etc. At the end of their time, the men gather around their care receiver and pray with him or her. Each month the team returns to the same care receiver, so their ministry to him or her extends over months and years.

Care & Share Oil Change
A team of awesome volunteers who gather on a Saturday morning four times a year, 8:00am-12:00pm, to help single women and widows with car repairs, including oil changes, tire pressure check, car fluid check, and checking for any other repairs that may be needed.
The dates for 2010 are:
- February 13
- May 15
- August 14
- November 13
