Our Mission

The Mission of Community Baptist Church is to help people encounter Jesus, be empowered by the Spirit, and extend God's Kingdom. (Matthew 28:18-20)

Our Values

• Compassion - Everybody needs to belong
     We strive to be a church that loves and accepts people just as they are,
     while helping them see God's purposes achieved in their lives.

• Authenticity - Life change happens within the context of relationships
     We strive to be a church in which people can be honest with themselves,
     others, and God as they learn and grow together.

• Kingdom-Minded - God's kingdom (his rule and reign) encompasses more
   than just Community Baptist Church
     We strive to be a church that expands God's kingdom fulfilled in our
     families, neighborhoods, and throughout the world.

• Empowerment - God has given gifts and talents to his followers
     We strive to be a church that gives people the opportunity to discover and
     develop their gifts and talents so they can make a lasting impact for God's
     kingdom in the world.

Our Pathway

EXPLORE is the genuine inquiry of God and the church, which deepens
my commitment to trust them with my spiritual life.

CONNECT is the intentional involvement in a relationship with Christ and
his church, which enables my spiritual development.

GROW is the continuing pursuit of my relationship with God and others,
which allows the Holy Spirit to transform my life.

THRIVE is the ongoing surrender of my transformed life to God's calling,
which leads to kingdom-centered service.
